“After 31 Years, Hair Color Is Still My Passion.” -kp
Ms. Pixley started Beauty School in 1986. Kathi’s enthusiasm for hair color began as soon as she was introduced to it. “One week night as I was doing color, exciting and terrifying at the same time…I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
Kathi started her career at Visible Changes where she worked for over 15 years. She has worked with excellent Colorist at the forefront of the industry including “The Mother of All Hair Color” Annie Humphreys of Vidal Sassoon. In 2003, Kathi struck out on her own. Two years later she opened her own studio and has been working at it since. Kathi continues to pursue her own personal enrichment by attending classes; teaching classes and is involved in shows including the Annual Behind The Chairs (BTC) Color Show, Hair Color USA and Hair Color Exchange.
